The Tahoe remains a solid pick for individuals and families who require a large and powerful vehicle. A 5.3-liter V8 engine brings a full 320 hp to the pavement. It comes mated to a modern six-speed automatic transmission. When we got behind the wheel of the Tahoe, we were rewarded with a smooth ride over even the most pockmarked of pavement.
